Where the values come from: from EPREL, the European Commission's product database for energy labels. Manufacturers must register every appliance there before it is sold. The values are the manufacturers' specifications; meine-waermepumpe.at is neither commissioned nor recommended by the EU. Data status: weekly update. We hide entries with contradictory information (such as an efficiency of over 230 % or higher at 55 °C than at 35 °C) until the manufacturer corrects them.

Electricity consumption: the annual consumption for heating according to the EU data sheet. It applies to an average European climate and a house that needs exactly the specified heating output. For your house, it is only a comparative value between appliances of the same size, not a forecast of your electricity bill.

How to read the values: The kW specification is the heating capacity according to the EU energy label at an outdoor temperature of −10 °C. It directly matches the heating load of your house, but is often lower than the number in the model name: manufacturers usually name their devices after the capacity at +7 °C. A "10 kW device" can therefore appear here with 8 kW. You can find the exact type under the name. ηs is the seasonal space heating efficiency — the higher it is, the less electricity is used. 35 °C applies to underfloor heating, 55 °C to radiators. The outdoor sound power level is the value for the outdoor unit; what reaches your neighbours is shown by the sound calculator. The heating load calculator tells you what size your house needs.
