Checked installers

How we check the installers

For us, "checked" should not just be a label. Here you can read what we check before the first request for quotes, what every installer commits to, and what "checked" does not mean.

1. Before an installer can see your request for quotes

An installer can register with us themselves. However, they will only receive requests for quotes once we have checked them. We do this manually, not automatically:

  • Trade registration: The installer has an active trade licence.
  • VAT or company register number: The numbers exist and belong to this installer.
  • The details match: Company name, address and company details match.

If anything is missing or a detail is incorrect, we reject them and the installer does not receive any requests for quotes. If it turns out later that a requirement is no longer met, we block their access again.

2. What every installer commits to

  • They will get in touch within 48 hours of accepting your request for quotes and record the contact in the portal. If there is no response, we will see it. Anyone who repeatedly fails to respond will receive fewer requests for quotes or will be blocked.
  • They will only use your data for your quote: no newsletter, no advertising for other products, no sharing with others. This also applies after an order has been placed, unless you consent to it yourself.
  • In the event of a violation, we block access immediately.

In addition, there are the rules that apply to every request for quotes: Your request for quotes goes to a maximum of 3 installers. Before that, they only see the location and details of the house; your name and contact details are only shared once they accept your request for quotes. Once three have accepted, it is locked for all others.

3. What "checked" does not mean

We check that the installer exists and is authorised to work. We do not assess how well they work, and we do not compare their prices. You decide that when you compare the quotes side by side. Our guide will help you with this: Checking a heat pump quote.

If you have had a bad experience with an installer from our network, let us know: anfrage@meine-waermepumpe.at. We follow up on every report.

The full rules for installers can be found in the Partner Terms and Conditions, and everything about your data in the Privacy Policy.
