Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the referral portal meine-waermepumpe.at. Last updated: 11 August 2026.

§ 1 Scope and operator

The operator of the portal is Westech Solar e.U., Wienersdorfer Straße 20-24 M37, 2514 Traiskirchen ("we"). These terms apply to all users who submit a request for quotes via the portal.

§ 2 Scope of service

We operate a referral platform. Users submit details about a planned heat pump project via an online form. We forward this request for quotes to up to three installers, whom we select based on region and project type.

Using the portal is free of charge for users. We finance ourselves through fees paid to us by the installers for referred requests for quotes.

§ 3 No contract for planning, delivery or installation

We do not provide any planning, delivery, installation or maintenance services ourselves and act neither as a representative nor as a vicarious agent of the installers.

A contract for the installation of a heat pump system is concluded exclusively between the user and the respective installer. Quotes, prices, scope of services, dates, statutory warranty and commercial guarantee are based solely on the agreement with the installer.

§ 4 Obligations of the users

  • The information provided in the form must be truthful and complete.
  • Only your own contact details may be submitted, or those for which you have permission to share.
  • Requests for quotes without a serious intention to purchase, as well as automated or abusive submissions, are not permitted.
  • Users must be of legal age and have legal capacity.

In the event of violations, we may reject requests for quotes without this giving rise to any claims.

§ 5 Selection of installers

We select the installers to the best of our knowledge based on region, project type and available capacity. There is no entitlement to a specific number of quotes being generated, to a company getting in touch within a certain timeframe, or to a quote having a specific content. In particular, it may happen that fewer than three or no suitable installers are available in a region.

When adding them to our network, we check the trade licence and insurance cover of the companies. We are not obliged to carry out any further ongoing checks of the technical execution.

§ 6 Liability

We are liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, as well as for intent and gross negligence. In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited in amount to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage.

We are not liable for the services of the referred installers. This applies in particular to quote contents, prices, quality of execution, deadline commitments and statutory warranties. Complaints must be made directly to the respective company.

Information on this website regarding prices, technical contexts and public grant programmes are non-binding guide values. Grant conditions and budgets change at short notice; only the information provided by the respective funding authority is binding.

§ 7 Availability

We strive for trouble-free operation, but do not guarantee any specific availability. Maintenance work, technical faults and events outside our control can lead to interruptions.

§ 8 Data protection and withdrawal of consent

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. The consent given in the form to pass data on to installers can be withdrawn informally at any time by contacting office@westech-solar.at.

§ 9 Changes to these terms

We may change these terms with effect for the future. For a request for quotes that has already been submitted, the version published at the time of submission applies.

§ 10 Applicable law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the conflict of law rules of international private law. Mandatory consumer protection regulations of the state in which consumers have their habitual residence remain unaffected. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

§ 11 Severability clause

Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
